LOL!!! I'm pretty flexible, and polite about people smoking. It really doesn't bother me, though after my father passed away, I was very sensitive to cigarette smoke for a couple of years. It would almost make me sick if I smelled it. Now, however, it's not an issue. I said that because it was Kathy, and I was razzing her.

While I love to smoke pipes and cigars and/or be around those smoking them, I am rather intolerant of cigarettes. Firstly, they are the mark of a socialist. They are mass produced, chemical infested, purposely addictive, modernisms. And they stink, whereas real tobacco smells quite pleasant.

I have been thoroughly enjoying, of late, a tin of Frog Morton's Night on the Town, as recommended to me by Eric. It's my first foray into English blends, whereas up to now I had been smoking aromatic. But I like this even better, thanks again, Eric (except now I must wait until Easter to enjoy it again ...).

There are all-natural cigarette tobaccos sold in tins for hand-rolling that are not chemically infested or purposely addictive. American Spirits are mass-produced, but they are fully organic. Dunhill, for instance, produces nice rolling tobaccos for cigarettes. So, one must look, but there are good old-fashioned cigarette tobaccos of the type that, say, Tsar Nicholas II habitually used.

Getting ready to pack a pipe of that "campfire blend"... Honestly, this was a bit of an adventurous purchase, we'll find out shortly

Was it a latakia blend? Sometimes, those are considered more of a "fall/winter" blend.... But it's cold out, so, I don't know. I'm leery of bulk blends unless they've been personally recommended: it seems safer to go with something tinned so one can see what others think about it first, and then get a feel for what tastes good and what doesn't.

Honestly, I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but for 4 bucks, it seemed worth a try. I might be able to handle it while sitting next to a campfire in late fall... other than, no go.

On the same token, that triple cherry is a smashing hit!!

And the apple I like quite well. It reminds me more of the smell of the smoke while smoking meat with apple wood rather than the actual taste of an apple. The wife and children don't quite pick this up yet, but I'm sure they will after this summer (has a sourced lined up for some good applewood smoking bits).

The razzing of Kathy is always allowed.

Wonderful! I'll get started on that right away.
