We offer opportunities in music-based apologetics
S. C. C. P. is a pro-life, pro-family, music-based, Catholic apologetics apostolate. We are an orthodox, lay-operated organization whose purpose is to provide Catholic entertainers who can be good role models for today's young people, and, at the same time, impart the truths of the faith to them. To do this we need Catholic young women who wish to use their musical talents and knowledge of the faith in the service of Our Lord and Our Lady.
We are currently conducting a nationwide talent search for traditional Catholic young ladies of exceptional music ability in the areas of classical or contemporary voice (alto or soprano), string or wind instruments. Acting, dance, music theater or public speaking experience would be an additional plus.
High school seniors, college age women (students or non-students), or recent graduates, especially those with degrees in music, are encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in individuals who were home-schooled or were raised in the Tridentine Mass or Byzantine tradition. While we prefer women who are age 18 or older, we would consider someone younger if they were exceptionally talented.
This is a great opportunity for young girls who are interested in apologetics and want to expand their knowledge of the faith. Our basic requirements are: a strong music background in one's chosen field ; a sound knowledge of the traditional Catholic faith; a strong devotion to Our lady and the Rosary; a good understanding and appreciation of the Church's teaching on modesty and a woman's God given role in society; and be faithful to the Holy Father and the Magisterium of the Church.

Well, it sounds interesting... though I'm not entirely understanding what you do, Stccp. Are you a choir, do they do recordings, or do they go around giving speeches etc?... |
